    At WiseGuy Maine Coons, our mission has always been simple: to raise healthy, well-socialized Maine Coon kittens with love, integrity, and deep respect for the breed—and for the families that welcome them home.

    We are not a large-scale operation or a flashy business. We are a married couple, living quietly with our beloved cats and dogs, pouring our time, money, and hearts into every life we help bring into the world. This has never been about profit; it’s been about passion, responsibility, and doing right by the animals we love.

This has never been about profit; it’s been about passion, responsibility, and doing right by the animals we love.

    🏡 Homes Matter

    Our kittens don’t just go to anyone. We are exceptionally cautious about the homes we choose for our cats. We screen thoroughly, ask a lot of questions, and often turn away applicants who aren’t the right fit. But even with the most rigorous vetting, we’ve learned that not every outcome can be predicted. Scammers exist. People change. Situations deteriorate.

    These are the things that keep us up at night. Because for us, these aren’t just pets—they’re family.

    🛑 Why We're Stepping Away

    Over the years, we’ve watched the landscape of animal care shift dramatically. The corporatization of veterinary care, paired with skyrocketing costs and reduced access to affordable, personal vet relationships, has made it increasingly hard to operate an ethical breeding program.

    Despite adjusting our kitten prices to try and cover rising expenses, we’ve found it impossible to break even, let alone sustain the level of care we believe is non-negotiable. Like many small ethical breeders across the country, we’re facing a stark choice: grow into something impersonal and profit-driven, or step away with our values intact.

    We have chosen the latter.

    💔 Closing With Integrity

    As of now, we no longer have any intact or breedable cats, and we have no plans to resume breeding in the future. This decision was not made lightly. But we would rather close our doors than compromise the freedom, dignity, and love our cats deserve.

    We are immensely proud of the legacy we’ve created, the cats we’ve raised, and the families we’ve helped unite. To all of you who have supported us, adopted from us, and shared in our journey—thank you. We are still here to support the lives we brought into the world, no matter what. That will never change.

With extensive three-dimensional spaces to explore, they can adventure to their hearts' content—whether we’re there or not. We’ve even created unique “offices” attached to the ceiling, connected by an intricate system of rope bridges, providing endless opportunities for climbing, lounging, and playing. This setup ensures they live enriched, happy lives as part of our loving household.

At WiseGuy Maine Coons, we believe that a well-trained kitten is a happy kitten. That’s why we offer a range of training options, from the basics to the more unique. Want to take leisurely walks with your kitten? Leash training is available. Fancy a feline high-five? We’ve got you covered!


Our commitment extends beyond the fun tricks. We instill essential life skills in every kitten, starting from the tender age of 4 weeks. This includes acclimating them to a weekly pampering session of baths and blow-dries, ensuring their nails are neatly trimmed, and litter box habits are impeccably formed.


We don’t just stop at manners; we teach gentle interactions with humans, and the importance of being calm and composed in various situations. Our playtime is purposeful, designed to engage their muscles and minds. This early exposure ensures they’re well-prepared to adapt to the new and exciting environment of your home.

Our kittens grow up in the heart of a bustling household, complete with over half a dozen large and giant breed dogs, the laughter of small children, the warmth of sunlight, and the embrace of fresh air. Amidst the lively symphony of daily life, we sometimes jest about desiring a moment of silence. But in truth, we cherish this vibrant atmosphere. It’s our commitment to nurturing our Maine Coon kittens in a genuine family setting, full of life’s true sounds and experiences—no safety bubbles, just real-world readiness.
